I’m a Postdoctoral Associate in Philosophy at MIT. I completed my PhD in philosophy at Princeton in 2025.
I’m interested in ancient Greek and Roman natural philosophy and metaphysics, how they’re influenced by ancient medical science and agricultural practice, and their ethical and political entanglements. My research focuses on Aristotle’s biology, especially his embryology; I have a paper on this topic in Phronesis and another forthcoming in Oxford Studies in Ancient Philosophy. I’m currently thinking about eggs in Aristotle’s embryology and ectogenesis more broadly.
